[arm-allstar] Connection fails from one end only

David,
Private nodes are really no different then public in that they lookup a
mapping of the node number to the correct IP address and port. The
difference is that in private mode you are responsible for the correct
routing at each node.
Your description leaves a few key parameters out.
1. Are these nodes on the same LAN or out at different places on the
Internet?
2. Are they on different IAX ports?
If they are on the same LAN then you must have routing from each one to the
others and it must include the port. The same is true if they are not all
on the same LAN only in that case the IP address would be the public IP
address of the other nodes. If they do not have static public IP addresses
then you would have to use a DynDNS name in place of the IP address. You
still should always use the port in the routing if any are different then
the default 4569. If you are using a DNS name in place of the IP address
make sure it is resolvable and reachable.
Also if the other nodes are outside of your LAN you would need to use port
forwarding to the IAX port and internal IP address. The reason to use
different ports is that you obviously can only forward a port to one IP
address behind the router.
