[arm-allstar] simpleusb / channel driver merge status?

Hi Doug,

I really appreciate your help! I'm not planning to use this long term,
just for a few days to be certain where my issues are coming from. It
really sounds like the new iopipe channel is going to be fantastic,
but in the mean time I'll have to deal with what I have =] Hopefully I
can isolate where my issue is coming from; I'm considering building a
new interface cable with a pull-down resistor on the CTCSS and COR
lines and then using active high instead of active low; however,
seems like most people that change to that do it because they aren't
triggering consistently, where my issue is that I'm getting kerchunked
by phantom noise that I can't see even with a spectrum analyzer
connected to the receive antenna and despite my 100hz tone :-/

So just to verify -- my repeater (a TKR-750 version 1) sends me audio
that has not be de-emphasized and wants audio that has not been
pre-emphasized or limited; is that good or bad? And what is the danger
of breaking that rule?

Richard
