[arm-allstar] Icom IC-706 MKIIG Interfacing

I have never interfaced this radio but it uses a standard 6 pin din
connector.  Here is the pinout -

Pin-out
Pin 1 – Data In
Pin 2 – Ground
Pin 3 – PTT
Pin 4 – 9600 Out
Pin 5 – 1200 Out
Pin 6 – Squelch  (COS)

You would wire Audio out of the FOB (green connector or pin 22 DMK/URI)  to
data in pin 1
                       Audio in of the FOB (red connector or pin 21
DMK/URI)  to pin 5 1200 out
COS is wired to pin 6 - you would most generally use  carrier/cosfrom=usb

PTT and ground are wired to PRR and ground on the FOB.

Some resistance may be needed in the audio leads to reduce levels. Try
10-68K

wired 6 pin din connectors with bare leads are available.
