[arm-allstar] Permanent link failing

even if it was link quality wouldn't it just reconnect?
the links do not show disconnected in allmon, it thinks that the are connected.
i do not monitor it continuously, i have periodically checked it by running ping pl,otter for several days.
sometimes it is nodes that are on the same switch (HP procurve 2900 series) that would rule the microwave out

Do you monitor your microwave links with something like Smokeping that
might allow you to correlate this issue with link quality?
