Okay then. My problem must be I have <> encapsulating the node number. Strip them out and it should work I'm seeing by your example.

I guess I am not sure what you are talking about. The 4 lines commented out
are already in the functions section of the hamvoip code. All you have to
do is uncomment the one you want and change the function character if you
prefer something else.
