Tom,
Since you are the only one out of thousands that has had this problem I
doubt it is a general SW issue. More likely you have a corrupted SD card.
If you have made configuration changes other than the normal setup I would
save out your config files for Allstar and reburn a new SD card, set it up
and if necessary copy the config files over to it.
BTW level setting can be done in the file -
/etc/asterisk/simpleusb_tune_usb.conf
It will look something like this -
[usb]
; name=usb
; devicenum=0
devstr=1-1.5:1.0
rxmixerset=450
txmixaset=200
txmixbset=500
preemphasis_override=no
deemphasis_override=no
plfilter_override=yes
rxboost_override=yes
Normally you do not alter this file and simpleusb_tune_menu writes to it.
In a pinch you could carefully change the levels here. You obviously would
not have the luxury of a display though.
