You should enter something that plays soon after you enter it. Something
like -

30 19 * * * /etc/asterisk/local/playnews/playnews-0.9 ARN 19:35 42738 L

set the start time to a few minutes ahead of current time and run time
about 5 minutes ahead of that and to local so you hear it only on your node.
