I just got my 1.5 install going as well on my portable node (thanks again Peter).

I am likely in a minority of 1 (not unusual), but I'd sure like an option to have a plain, boring, no spiffy graphics characters and dialogs, play by the numbers menu. Since, as I say, I'm a minority of 1 on this, I did set my node to just drop me to a bash prompt for configuring and just skip the menus altogether.

Anyway, seems to sound as good as it did before the update, so I'm happy :)

> New Tech Notes not 100% clear for folks "upgrading". Don't use any old backup files from any existing RPi Node...I ran the install as if I had a "new node" install. During the Install process...I was asked for my existing Node number and Password (you can find yours - about your existing Node) after logging into AllStarLink.org and looking at your node information.
> Also helpful: Have a copy of your older/original/working (usbradio.conf) file handy. You'll be asked several questions during the install ..about your USB Interface, Radio, InvertPTT...and a bunch of other setting questions. Your original usbradio.conf is your guide to answering these install questions correctly to get your Allstar v1.5 node working like your original RPiv3.0 node was working.
