[arm-allstar] Turning Asterisk 'On"

      Hello&Happy New Year to all

       Tried to do a restart in */etc/init.d/asterisk restart.C*an anyone
tell me what this means?




*Unable to connect to remote asterisk (does /var/run/asterisk.ctl exist?)*
        To make an attempt to diagnose the problem,I entered at the root
prompt




*asterisk -v v v c*
          And got this

                 *WARNING*


*No channel type registered for 'Radio rpt:Sorry unable to obtain Rx
channel*
       In the rpt.conf file,the Rx channel is clearly defined&proper entry
made.
