[arm-allstar] IAXrpt n00b question

Hi all,

I’ve been unable to get IAXrpt for windows to talk to a running node on a local subnet.  I *believe* that I’ve got the IAX.conf and RPT.conf files edited properly.  This site does not have a ‘real’ internet connection so I’m doing this all on a private network.

When attempting to make contact the IAXrpt client will show:

Call	State 	Connected To
1	-?-		7 at 192.168.1.211 <mailto:7 at 192.168.1.211>/1001

where 192.168.1.211 is my ’pi's fixed IP address on the local subnet and 1001 is my self assigned node number.

The status line at the bottom of the window shows ‘calling 1001’ for several seconds then responds with ‘call attempt failed’.

I’ve commented out " ;register=1999:1234567 at register.allstarlink.org <mailto:1234567 at register.allstarlink.org>” in IAX.conf

Any direction would be greatly appreciated!
