Thanks Doug I'll keep digging. The ip for the repeater is locked and was
done at the neaghbor's router. The other node is not. I did check both with
the *a1 and it verified the ip as well as checking the header in the menu.
The other thing I saw today is that Almond only works on my simplex node
and not the repeater.

Chris,
lsnodes depends on a local IP address. If for some reason that changed you
will not be able to get to it. Make sure the IP address in the lsnodes URL
is the current IP address of your server. You should lock down a dhcp
address given to you by the router in the router. Your current local IP
address is displayed in the ADMIN menu screen at the top or it can be
played using DTMF *A1 if you have that activated in rpt.conf or at the
linux shell prompt using 'ip a' or 'ifconfig'
I think you are using a wifi connection to a distant neighbor where the
router is. This would have to be setup in that router such that you were
always assigned the same address.
If you are trying to use it outside of your local LAN (out on the Internet
somewhere) it will not work unless you have port 80 forwarded in your
router (or whatever address you have your http server set to) and you use
your public IP address. Since public IP addresses change you would probably
need to use a dyndns to connect via a domain name.
