Exactly. I second that, my earlier comment also did not intend to imply
any lack of reliability whatsoever with the package. There may be
(cough, cough) some pilot-error on evidence in the user community from
time to time, but that's different.

I am looking forward to hearing more about cutting down the bandwidth
use from all that phone-home and very frequent node list downloads.
Using a DNS type approach makes so much more sense. I wonder if that's
related to the <node>.asnode.org structure.

Anyways, things just keep getting better here with the package!

Network outages, packet latency issues, flapping connections ... not to
mention large snow drifts at 9000'+.

	I find my Nagios3 extremely useful/helpful/reassuring and it's running
very happily, snug and warm, on an old first generation Pi monitoring
all sorts of things at varying distances.

Very well said. Same thing for any kind of computer system. Surprise is
never a good thing when it's *your* system.

Happy Christmas to all - and, *thanks* very much to Doug for all that
you do!
