[arm-allstar] Nagios Client Packages?

Well first of all the hamvoip code rarely if ever crashes. When it does it
is almost always for an outside reason like high RF in the area, or taking
a flash photo of the Pi, or some other reason outside of the software. Also
power issues are often a source of problems. At a minimum the Pi should be
on UPS pwoer for reliability. Fast power cycling is nasty and power failure
without proper shutdown is to be avoided. That being said the code you are
talking about is well above what would be needed on the level of code and
hardware you are dealing with here. If you do decide to go forward be aware
that we have our own repositories and any changes made to other sources
could wipe the system out. Depending on how nagios works with the system it
may be necessary to configure and compile source for it to work. I do not
know the loading it would impose on the system so that is another factor to
consider. It obviously is not a big deal to experiment as if something is
hosed after you have it installed it is a rather simple matter to burn
another SD card and start over. Let us know how you make out if you decide
to try it and what significant advantage it provides.
