Chris,
While the one you mention is probably OK if it is working properly I would
recommend the fixed 5V 3A 12V to 5V adapters. There are a ton of them on
ebay. I have always had good luck with them. They are sealed and no
adjustments and very high efficiency. They don't even get warm at a
constant couple of amps out. At $2-$3 each you could use one for the radio
and one for the Pi if you wanted although one would run both fine. For the
888 I would put a diode in series with the 5V to drop it to a reasonable
