Chris,
I think I am reading this right. The hotspot should always be available
before you start your node. Although it should start with it being turned
on after there is no guarantee that will happen.
That being said there is no correlation between the FOB LED's and the
internet connection whether it be wifi or wired. As was mentioned if the
FOB is not coming up correctly it could be a power issue or bad hardware or
SW. The FOB should always come up and stay up with blinking status no
matter what the Ethernet connection is doing.
The FOB is also hot pluggable. So in the event it stopped showing status
blink you could pull out the FOB USB connection and plug it back in and it
should reset and go to status blink. If it does not you have other issues.
