Mike,
You didn't say what the noise sounded like or what FOB type you are using.
Does the noise go away when you disconnect the audio from the repeater? Do
you have the levels set correctly?
Fans and other switching devices can cause noise and couple into both the
audio lines and FOBS. I have had to experiment with positioning around
switching power supplies and small muffin style fans put out horrendous
noise sometimes. A 22-47 ohm resistor in series with the positive lead and
large cap 100uf or more on the fan side to ground usually always cures it.
