[arm-allstar] Need some troubleshooting help with Allstar/RPi2/888 w/ FOB

I'm trying to set up a node on a RPi2 with a Baofeng 888 my dad bought with
a USB FOB already wired in, running through the first time setup menus.
After several attempts (learning how to set up the radio, AllStar login,
etc), the only audio I get from the setup is the flash option in
simpleusb-tune-menu. With the scripts, AllStar will connect to a hub for
the WinSystem, but no sound. Does this point to Asterisk being
misconfigured?
