Robert,

  I have seen this problem in one mod'ed radio.  You might want to reduce
the resistor on the TX side to the 888 mic in. I think you are referring to
the 888's TX audio? The audio you hear on another radio from Allstar. That
would be item 3 in simpleusb-tune-menu.


You also need to put a dummy plug in to disconnect the 888 microphone as
shown in the docs.

This also could be a USB FOB problem. Do you have another FOB to try?
