[arm-allstar] Conditionally ignoring tone qualifier to key repeater more quickly

Our previous controller/repeater was much faster at keying the repeater than our Yaesu DR-1X which has about 1/4 seconds of delay all waiting for the tone validation.

Some controllers implement an algorithm that will "trust" that the tone will become valid if a key up occurs within a short time (like 4 seconds) from a previously tone qualified transmission. This has to have the smarts to disable itself temporarily during band openings or other transmissions without the proper tone.

This would be especially helpful during our ARES nets that can have 50+ check-ins.

There are so many provisions provided for in your Allstar system, thought I'd ask if there was a way to do this before embarking on an external PIC project to accomplish this.
