[arm-allstar] Radio interface question

Hello Group,

I have an older Motorola mobile radio that I would like to setup as a simplex node.  The radio is an M100 so it has the 5 pin connector on the back and not the 16.  My question is, can this be interfaced to a URI strictly through the mic jack as is, without bringing the COS to the jack?  Information on this is sparse at best.  I did see where someone said it could be done, but that was the only reference I have seen about it.  Is anyone else running a setup like this and does it work OK?
