[arm-allstar] help with echolink setup

Mike,
I can only tell you that it works and that many are using it. Why it does not work there is a mystery. It usually is user/pass problems. Do you have passwords setup at Echolink for the additional calls? You need to become sysop to use the additional calls and to do that you need to log on in windows. You can't just use the additional calls without setting them up.
Is this just that it won't work on pseudo or it won't work even attached to a radio node?
Also remember when it is pseudo you can't use another nodes radio DTMF connection on the same server to connect out on Echolink. It would be the same as if it was Allstar. When you connect with *3 or *33 for Echolink it is trying a connection on the node the radio is on.
Generally the main idea of having Echolink on Allstar is connect in not out so if your object is to have an easy connect out then pseudo is not a good idea.
You can connect out easily using the asterisk client on that server because you can specify the node -
rpt fun <echolink pseudo node> *33<echolink connect to node>
There are ways around this using radio DTMF like using the autopatch method I describe in the howto's at hamvoip.org or using macros for often used connections.

I'm using pseudo. The Echolink link refuses to register with the Echolink servers. Using the same servers that I use on my public node on acid server. And yes, I have two different ISP's here at my location, one on each, with different Echolink callsigns.

It just occurred to me, you aren't using an echolink rxchannel connect in the pseudo node are you? It must just be a pseudo connection -
rxchannel=dahdi/pseudo

Interested to hear if you make Echolink work from a pseudo (private) node. I've been working on one off and on for a few months without any luck. Always seems to work with a public node number.

I'am running hamvoip.org code Doug, and echolink is pointing to a pseudo node, server1,2 and 3 a set to load on the echolink.conf file.

First of all you are running the hamvoip.org code right? By default GPS is not enabled and echolink is. Here is a snippet from /etc/asterisk/modules.conf -
noload=app_followme.so
;noload=chan_echolink.so
noload=app_transfer.so
;noload=func_callerid.so
noload=app_directed_pickup.so
;noload=chan_voter.so
noload=app_flash.so
noload=app_page.so
noload=app_gps.so
noload=pbx_dundi.so
noload=app_setcallerid.so
noload=app_dictate.so
The lines commented out with a semicolon ARE loaded. The others are not.
