I guess I may have mistyped.. I was listening on a conversation when I got the timeout message and my node disconnected from my hub.I haven't noticed it happening again so... Oh well.Sorry, it got "lost in translation" he he

I don't think this has anything to do with it being a private node. It is just a TX timeout which is set by totimeout in rpt.conf. Default is 300000 mS which is 5 minutes. It you are transmitting longer than that it will timeout. By transmitting it would mean COS true for longer than that time then you would get the message. You can change the timeout value or just not transmit that long. Typically a transmission should be less than 3 minutes to eliminate downstream repeater timeouts.

Hello Gents,
I created an experimental private pi node and connected it to my hub. After talking on it for sometiime.. I get an announcement
"node 1968 timeout".
Any ideas on where I should start?
