It sounds like you have carrierfrom in simpleusb.conf set wrong on that image. By default the image is set to carrierfrom=usbinvert meaning pin 8 has to go low to indicated receive. If you have duplex=2 in rpt.conf and pin 8 is active meaning low for carrierfrom=usbinvert or high for carrierfrom=usb then it will key the PTT.

1V for COS is not a good value. It should be above 2V or so on high and close to 0 volts on low (.5 or less).

I'm running an RPI2 with version 1.01 and using DMK URI. I'm trying to get up a repeater and I'm having an odd issue. As soon as everything loads up the red LED is stuck on. This is with nothing connected to the db25. I also measure 1 volt dc at pin 8. I thought maybe I had bad fob so I swapped it with another fob and I got the same thing.
I then took the fob and moved it to another RPI2 running the same image and it doesn't do it. I'm kinda chasing my tail here anyone know where to start or where to look? I must of fat fingerd something somewhere.
