Yes, you can do that but it works fine in the US without doing it. Not sure about other countries.

Looks like the Sy did the trick on the download. It appears that there is one more step afterward?
"Uncomment the right regulatory domain in /etc/conf.d/wireless-regdom.It will automatically be set on boot." See copy-and-paste of output below.

Try pacman -Sy .....
Please keep in mind this does not stop wireless from working just gets rid of the console messages which are annoying when trying to use an HDMI connected terminal to control the wireless.
Let me know if the -Sy works for you.

-----I had already installed and configured wireless (and it's working fine except for the boot messages). Could that be the problem?

Thanks for the update on the wireless procedure. I'm running into a hiccup when I execute the command:
[root at WB5NFC-2347 ~]# pacman -S crda iw wirelessregdberror: target not found: wirelessregdb
Thanks,
John

The wireless howto and wireless info in the V1.02 readme on the web page have been updated again.
Info on eliminating the CRDA messages that appear constantly and hang the console is included.
Also there is a recommendation for a small HDMI monitor and keyboard for portable use.
