Good to hear you got it going and sorry for the mistake on my part of not updating that document.    

Yes, I agree you probably will like Allstar much better than IRLP. I started with IRLP many years ago and quickly found out its many limitations which do not exist on Allstar.
Be aware that Allstar does now have an Echolink bridge and we are hoping to add an IRLP bridge in the near future. As Dave stated in a previous email it is up to the user to understand the ramifications of connecting services but I would like to keep this a technical forum and not get into political discussion about any of that.

Thanks everybody. I got the wireless installed. Besides that the main reason I was asking was because  I can't afford an irlp card right now and i was hoping for an option that doesn't require me to spend a bunch more money. I'm going to setup an allstar node instead of IRLP. Sounds like i'll like it better anyway.
