Neil,
It doesn't quite work that way. The CT values are only read from
rpt.conf when app_rpt.c is loaded.
While these values are stored in ram somewhere, you can not simply
access them from from the shell.
What you can do is access shell environment variables from the C
programming language, but the program has to be written specifically to
do that.. There is a C function called *getenv()* that will allow a
program to access the environment variables. App_rpt.c would have to be
modified to go out and read these environment variables.
The shell script could then change the value of the environment variables.
