Well to answer the question that has not been asked yet but I am sure will, YES it is likely we will support it as soon as it becomes readily available which make take several months. It will also take some time to port everything over and test. Typically the software and bug checking of software considerably lags a hardware release.
The other question is do you need it and the likely answer is no, for the average user it will not necessarily do anything for Allstar the current Pi will not at least with the current code. The Pi 2 boards will be available for some time to come. The Pi 3 does integrate some hardware like wifi and it is significantly faster. The jury is still out however on the USB performance until some testing is done. As soon as we have the board and get it configured we will not know any further answers. Stay tuned.
