Judging the world of digital voice modes by what you hear from DStar,
Fusion, non-AGC DMR, Motorola's screwed up AGC on TRBO, or Project 25 via a
scanner is probably not the best way to come to such a conclusion.
Granted some times any digital just does not sound good to some people.
However well built radios, using a well designed format with error
correction, and a well designed system that is set up properly can do
wonders. That last part is usually what makes or breaks it. Even with well
designed commercial systems using a good format, poor setup/programming can
make it difficult to listen to.
