I fully agree. It is nice to get up on whats out there but you can't chase the latest fad (board) all the time. This is a very limited board and not even expected to be available until late this year or early next year. By that time it will probably be obsolete!
The RPi2 was chosen because of its capability but also because of the strong support in both hardware and software. You have to remember what this replaced, a energy guzzling PC that had to cost several hundred dollars or more at one time. When you think about the savings in just energy for a 24/7 system it would pay for itself in less than a year.
