I think that little board represents the "shape of things to come."  
...However, it's still vapor at this point, and a lot can change in a 
year!

The RPi2's are here now and work VERY well! And, for the differences in
capabilities (RPi2 has 4 USB ports, quad core CPU, wired Ethernet, etc.),
the RPi2 is more than worth the $26 difference in cost, IMO!!!

The single biggest factor determining the success of these little 
open-source boards is userbase to support and refine software for them.

Just my $0.02!
