[arm-allstar] TM-V71A PC serial port comands Found

I have attached the hardware mod info for reference only. I do not recommend that these are followed without a full understanding of what you may damage on your radio. Also remember that there are several versions of the radio and be sure you are not making a mod that is already configured.

Thanks

Nice work! I’m also interested in the HW mods for 220 and 1296.

Any details on the mod for 220? I see there is a way to tune there. But very interested

in whatever else you need to do.

    Thanks

After much searching I found the PC commands for the Kenwood TM-V71A Dual band radio. With mods its capable of 2m 220 70cm and 1296! it is also capable of direct frequency entry and pl tones! A great remote base radio for use with asterisk and hamlib. And yes I am using a usb hub on my BBB with a usb to serial adapter to the radio. Now to go write some code scripts, macros and function stanzas to get it all working the way I want it to. The file is attached
