[arm-allstar] Archive Search - Build a Better Mouse Trap?

it is easy to do a search of the archive with google

use this exemple where I searched for bbb in the archive

bbb site:http://lists.hamvoip.org/pipermail/arm-allstar/

just paste that line in a google search and every thing in the archive with bbb in it will pop up

Has anyone toyed with any ideas on how to combine the information found in the email archives into a more user-friendly database search? Surely there are some tools out there that might make the task somewhat less daunting.... just thinkin' and wishin' out loud....
