Cole,
You create a text file of what you want to say. Then call it with ttsaudio.sh
ttsaudio.sh mytextfile
It creates a ulaw file that you can play.
There is a howto on the web page - hamvoip.org - scroll down to the bottom where the howto links are.

In the BBB distro I just loaded Doug included text-to-speech translation for ID’s. How can I access that function to make more .gsm files for other ID’s? Searching on the web all I find from Google is an Android app to do it. Really a neat way to do it. Thanks, Doug. Cole, AA7RD
