Hi Mark,
You need to be absolutely sure you are ssh'ing to the right device (IP address) and make sure you are using port 222 not the default 22 for ssh. I have had this bite me in the past. Also it should ask for the username which is also 'root'. then enter 'root' for the PW. Make sure you have the case right. If you are sure you are ssh'ing to the right address and it still does not work then maybe you got a bad SD card load. Perhaps rewrite the card and try again. Let us know what you find out.

Subject: [arm-allstar] n00b SSH question
Hi all,
I’ve amassed all the parts (I think!) to build up a node using the BBB. I’m able to boot from the SD card and capture the IP address using the flashing LED. When I attempt to SSH to the device the password ‘root’ is rejected. Here’s what I get:
M1-2:~ mark$ sudo ssh root at 10.80.62.78 -p 222Password:Sorry, try again.Password:
>From my reading of the man page I ‘think’ I have the SSH command structured correctly but I’m a newcomer to Linux so I really don’t have a clue! :)
Any direction would be appreciated!
Thanks!Mark
