Robert,
I went back and looked at your original message. The RPi2 images uses simpleusb not usbradio. You need to use simpleusb-tune-menu to set audio levels. Simpleusb uses COS, PTT, audio in and audio out to your radio.

Hi Doug, got the image installed & went thru the setup while reading along your setup guide. Still having same problems so am quite convinced it is something simple I am overlooking.

Rob,
Welcome to Allstar. Unfortunately this email list is not for that release. Our release is at hamvoip.org and I think you will find it a better and soon with our next update a much improved release. It is very easy to install. If you want to continue with the release you are using then the app_rpt list is the one you want.

Greetings to the forum. My name is Rob I am very new to Allstar Link and have some questions regarding the setup of my first server/node. Any and all help and advise will be hugely and genuinely appreciated!
Setup:Rpi 2 running the Rpi2_dial imageURIx interface (no eeprom) to an FT-7800.port forwarding 4569 UDP and 222 TCP
When I run "radio-tune-menu", audio is getting thru the radio in both directions.
When I go to the web transceiver to test I cannot connectWhen I try to send dtmf to the node radio I get no response.
Am sure its something simple and obvious, probably a loose nut between my headsets. Thanks again for any advise! I will happily answer any questions to help zero in on a solution.
Sincerely,Rob ConklinN4WGY
