[arm-allstar] Echolink Config on RaspberryPi2

John,

Not all servers are always there. You will get errors on certain servers at times. Ignore them. I think that is what you are seeing.

Have you actually tried to connect to your node from an echolink application outside of your network like on an Iphone?

Just getting back to chasing gremlins on this, Dave.
27911*CLI> echolink dbget call WB5NFC-L152242|WB5NFC-L|76.164.200.231 == Refreshing DNS lookups.[Apr 25 15:49:09] ERROR[267]: chan_echolink.c:2143 sendcmd: connect() failed to connect to the Echolink server server5.echolink.org == Refreshing DNS lookups.
----
Echolink ports 5198, 5199 UDP are forwarded to the node IP. Double-checked the Echolink password by requesting it be sent to me by email. /etc/asterisk/modules.conf has the line ;noload=chan_echolink.so
Other thoughts?

John,

Yes, that is all right. If you go into the client -

asterisk -rvvv and you give the echolink command is it there?

CLI> echolink ?
dbdump dbget debug

Then type -

CLI> echolink dbget call WA3DSP-L
147090|WA3DSP-L|73.30.112.57

My call should be in the database. You do have to type it in uppercase as shown.

Well, I thought I knew how to do this... but apparently not.
Steps for making Echolink work on the Pi:

(1) Configure the echolink file with the appropriate information for your node(2) Rename the file echolink.conf(3) Reload / reboot to make the file active(4) Wait until Echolink picks up the node info
What am I missing?
