Well lets not get into an argument over the IRLP/echolink stuff. I stated the facts and Tim is only stating policy. As an Allstar group we pretty much do what we want individually. We don't have a czar telling us what to do. Just follow the amateur rules and don't stir the pot with them and I think things will be OK.
You shouldn't be turning off ID's on your RF side though. It is an FCC requirement and we wouldn't want someone to be cited for lack of an ID and it being linked to Allstar. When you are connected to a busy circuit and you personally don't ID your RF side could go on indefinitely without any ID of the actual RF transmitter.

Honestly Tim you shouldn't accused before you have all the facts.
1. Not going thru anyone's repeater input.2. Duplex set to 1.3. East Coast IRLP Reflector 9050 has a Allstar Node 27339 for there Tuesday night nets.
I believe there was a mistake somewhere, because I haven't run across this problem before and I was blame for it. Thanks for the help guys.

Are you liking into a repeater’s input, with your node using the repeater as a mobile, HT or bast station? I call that in-band linking. If so that’s really bad form. The ID is only one of the issues with doing in-band linking.
You said something about the East Coast reflector. Is that IRLP or Echolink?
Honestly, you should not in-band link and should stop now. And be advised that IRLP and Echolink do not want connections from other networks including AllStar.

I just want to get rid of the CW ID, I have received complaints on the Node 27339 East Coast Reflector that my CW ID is not permitted.

Well if you are using it on a radio an ID is required but I am sure you know that.
Do you want to get rid of all ID's or just the cw id?
The main cw ID is the idrecording= command in rpt.conf
idtalkover= is the ID that is played when someone keys up during the idrecording id.
In other words iof you have idrecording set ot a voice ID and idtalkover set to a CW ID then if the voice ID is playing and someone keys up it will immediately switch to the CW ID.
