John,

I am curious why you used the proxy if you had the vpn working? I am not that experienced with echolink but whenever I used the echolink proxies they were not very reliable. What is your ultimate goal? Can you use the VPN? Don't you think it is the actual proxy server that is the problem? Have you tried other servers?

Subject: [arm-allstar] Proxy & Echolink Connection Failed

I'm currently using a proxy server setup for mobile node 2186. Echolink worked well through an open-port VPN, but with the proxy, I'm back to the same "sometimes it works, sometimes it won't" scenario that I had before the VPN. Allstar connections work fine.
I have added the appropriate information to the config files. My node is registering with Allstar. The Echolink node is registering with Echolink. The Echolink node files appear to be downloading properly (CLI output). Yesterday, I could connect to the Echolink Test Server and to other Echolink nodes. Other Echolink nodes were able to connect to my node. Today - 'Connection Failed' on all Echolink attempts.
Troubleshooting suggestions greatly appreciated.
CLI output upon attempting to connect:
