[arm-allstar] Allstar Portal Configuraiton of BBB?

John,

Well the info on your server and node - freq, location, etc. should be setup for informational reasons if you want to display your node's info on the allstar stats page.

The only operational one that is important is the server port. It defaults to 4569 which is fine if you just have one server but if you have more than one server on the same single public IP you will need to change the additional servers to unique ports. I usually go down 4568, 4567, etc. You would then need to also change the port in iax.conf to match the port set at allstarlink and port forward it accordingly in your router. Also if you want the servers to talk to each other locally you would need to list them in the nodes stanza of rpt.conf with the correct port at both ends. This is detailed on the BBB web page. In this situation of more than one server you would also want to change the ssh port number from the default 222 to another port on the additional servers and port forward it also. This is only necessary if you want to ssh in from outside your LAN.
