Hi Joe,

In my experience, tethering  off your phone does not work very well.
Depending on the connection, you may have sever buffering problems with
causes the audio be be distorted.  I've tried tethering on a 4G network and
was not happy with the results even though I had adequate upload/download
speeds according to the speed tests that I ran.  Saying that... it's always
worth a try and let us know your results.
