OK, well keep in mind that as per the docs the supported wifi adapter is the one listed, the Asus N10. It works and works well. Others will need drivers etc and possibly different setup.

Doug and Chris, The hardware was recognized when I did the lsusb command. The hub is a 7 port powered. The wifi is a edimax. I think the hub was working as I had the USB FOB plugged into it and it was working. Thanks JoeN3FHW _________________________________________________________________

What is your wifi hardware? Hub? Is the HW recognized?
I am sure Chris will chime in on this.

Subject: Re: [arm-allstar] Pre-recorded broadcasts That might solve the local problem but if he is connected to other nodes the radios on those nodes would probably have timeouts and most are hard set in the radios or repeaters. So it gets complicated. You should really break at least every three minutes to reset timeouts of any nodes or repeaters along the way. I have heard newsline on the air with these breaks and I don't think it is manually created. It breaks right in the middle of a word and then picks back up at that point. So a script the parses the audio file in about 3 minutes chunks would be the best thing.

You could use those along with cron (or the app_rpt scheduler) to switch at a regular time, say every Monday at 7:30 PM.
