[arm-allstar] 1.2.1 BBB Device Tree question

I've been trying to figure out how to get ttyO4 working again for my GPS
connection, it used a device tree in the old kernel. The new kernel seems
to have done away with the cape manager, so all the work I did is worthless
now.

Does anyone know how is it done with the new 3.16 kernel? I'm striking out
everywhere, and google is failing me.
