Personally I have never seen a corrupted card so it does not happen often but it certainly could happen. What type card are you using?
I always tell people to buy at least two cards. If you have a second one burn it and see if it comes up OK and you can ssh in. If you only have one then you will have to re-burn the one you have.
Make sure the power is good to the BBB. That could cause crazy things to happen also. I have never seen a bad BBB but that could happen also.
If the SD card were not booting it could also be booting the internal image. If that were happening you would not see the address you assigned come up in your router or if you are using dhcp the device name you assigned.

Doug, I think it must be a corrupted card. I can't even ssh to it
now, but it does show up in the router device list. The LEDs are not
blinking like before. I had edited the files according to your PDF
file, changing node numbers, call signs etc. I just made a cable and
was going to hook it up to my radio. I'm using a URI and the URI
light came on OK. Have you guys seen many corrupted cards before?
I'm wondering if that might be the problem.

I doubt it is the image that is the problem and the new one
won't be out for awhile so lets get this one going for you. I
am sure it is something minor.

Hi, I installed it on a BBB a few weeks ago, edited the
files but have not had time to hook it up. Recently I noticed it was not reporting to the
server and found a bunch of errors (messages log file).
I'm not sure if I edited the files incorrectly. I
wonder
if I should just reimage the card and start over or
wait til the new release is ready. Any
suggestions to figuring
out what's going on?
