How do you arrive at this conclusion? I connect to experimental
reflector 0016 and 0057 with no trouble. Listening to Amateur Radio
Newsline as I type this.

IRLP offers no advantage over Allstar and many disadvantages. Current IRLP users can dump their IRLP board, bring up Allstar, probably using most of their current hardware, and if they want use their IRLP key to still connect to the IRLP network. It would be the best of both worlds using one Pi.

I can say though that the intent of our putting the bridge back into Allstar was not to create new IRLP nodes but rather to allow those having reflectors and existing IRLP nodes the ability to cross connect. The IRLP community is a different animal than Allstar. It is run by one individual who typically requires the purchase of hardware in order to be assigned a node number and authorization to use the network.
