In the main menu go to item 13 run simpleusb-tune-menu,<br><br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:tahoma,sans-serif;font-size:small">Select the v option and you will see a display on the screen showing you the COS status. It will look like this:<br><br>REALTIME RX TELEMETRY DISPLAY:<br> COS | COS | COS | CTCSS | CTCSS | PTT <br>(composite) | (input) | (test) | (input) | (override) |<br> CLEAR | CLEAR | CLEAR| IGNORE | CLEAR | CLEAR <br><br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:tahoma,sans-serif;font-size:small">The important thing is the COS COMPOSITE which is shown here as CLEAR. This is the normal unkey state. When COS is KEYED (the node radio is receiving a signal) it will say KEYED.<br><br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:tahoma,sans-serif;font-size:small">Item j on the menu changes the state of COS. Depending on your radio it will be set to USB or USBINVERT.
