This is the menu you get when you login to your system using ssh (putty, winscp) or a monitor and keyboard. Item 1 on the menu checks for updates and performs them if they exist. This process is also done at the start of setup when installing a new systems. It is NOT automatic and requires a user to actually periodically perform then update at the menu. There have been 75+ updates since the release of V1.5 in January 2017. Updates are from the hamvoip repository and have greatly improved the 1.5 codebase. You won't find you have to recompile something after you do an update. The repository not only includes Allstar code but the entire array of ArchLinux packages and the kernel so the entire process is tightly controlled giving the users peace of mind that everything works. Users can download any additional packages from the hamvoip repository using the pacman commands.

73 Doug

WA3DSP

http://www.crompton.com/hamradio
