I do hear a courtesy tone as long as the telemetry is there
(duplex=1) otherwise no. Note, I did turn that CT off as soon as I
went back to the duplex=1.

Is it even possible to have no hangtime while in duplex=1? If not
then I will just have to figure out how to turn on some
announcements while I am in duplex=0.
I believe the address I am sending from is the one I registered
with. I did have some issues with some sort of email hack sending
out spam from my email program at one time, so I may have been
moderated from that.
Oh also a note on this.
The trail is only noticeable when rpt.conf duplex=1.
If rpt.conf duplex=0, it goes away, but so does my telemetry.

Simple usb duplex=0 or 1 doesn't change anything.
First of all where did your config files come from? Did
you copy them from somewhere else? The default hangtime
is 100ms which is about right for simplex. If you ran
the default setup from the image you would have all
these things set properly. Not know how you got where
you are it is not clear what else might not be set
correctly.

One caution when starting a new image is that you should
not blindly copy config files from other versions of
Allstar like Acid. Things have changed and the setup
does a good job of giving you a good starting place.<br

If setting althangtime and hangtime to 100 doe snot fix
things for you then something else has been changed or
something else other than Allstar is causing the problem.
