    I do hear a courtesy tone as long as the telemetry is there
    (duplex=1) otherwise no. Note, I did turn that CT off as  soon as I
    went back to the duplex=1. <br>

    Is it even possible to have no hangtime while in duplex=1? If not
    then I will just have to figure out how to turn on some
    announcements while I am in duplex=0.<br>

    I believe the address I am sending from is the one I registered
    with. I did have some issues with some sort of email hack sending
    out spam from my email program at one time, so I may have been
    moderated from that.<br>

          Oh also a note on this. <br>
          The trail is only noticeable when rpt.conf duplex=1. <br>
          If rpt.conf duplex=0, it goes away, but so does my telemetry.<br>

          Simple usb duplex=0 or 1 doesn't change anything.<br>

                 First of all where did your config files come from? Did
                you copy them from somewhere else? The default hangtime
                is 100ms which is about right for simplex. If you ran
                the default setup from the image you would have all
                these things set properly. Not know how you got where
                you are it is not clear what else might not be set
                correctly.<br>

                One caution when starting a new image is that you should
                not blindly copy config files from other versions of
                Allstar like Acid. Things have changed and the setup
                does a good job of giving you a good starting place.<br
