They both have separate node numbers. In the setup I chose to not publish the online status to allstarlink.org. as far as the port forwarding, in the setup I remember that being asked and I left it the default 4569. Is there something I need to configure in my router?

Hi Vincent,

A couple of things. First, do you have public node numbers for both nodes?
If not, the easiest solution is to get a second public node number and
install on your second node.

Second, if your node is on a private IP address, do you have in-bound port
forwarding setup on the node you're trying to connect to? If not, the
default port used is UDP port 4569. Out-bound connection don't need port
forwarding (hence why you can connect outbound). In-bound does need
forwarding.

Thats usually about all that's typically needed.
