Hi all,

I have a Raspberry Pi 2 that I want to set up as an Allstar node. It seems straightforward enough, but I would like to know if anyone has used the West Mountain Radio Nomic interface instead of a homebrew USB soundcard or DMK URI. The Nomic is cheaper. I'm planning to start with one of my Baofeng HTs as the radio. I would use either the DMK URI or the Nomic (if it works) rather than build my own at this point. Any advice would be appreciated, as I'm just starting out on this endeavor. I currently have the RPi 2 set up with the standard Jessie operating system, but I have the Allstar image written to another micro SD card for when I put the Allstar node together. Thanks all.

73

Steve

KJ6WNS
