We generally only do simpleusb and currently only suggest its use with our code. The best way to handle ID's on repeaters or links is to have the output PL follow the input PL. ID's would be transmitted without PL and not heard by the other end using <br>PL on receive. This is also a good way to connect Allstar to a repeater when there is no Internet at the repeater site.
